I saw this posted on Twitter the other day...

It's sad when people you know become people you knew. When you can walk right past someone like they were never a big part of your life.

I'm sure we all have instances in our lives where we've had fall-outs with people that were important in our lives at one point. It can be sad in many different ways.

Why do people have to be so mean? Why do girls insist on trashing you behind your back - but deny it to your face? Why can't people be as good of a friend to me as I've been to them? Why can't all close friends be genuine?

There have been instances in our lives where we've asked ourselves these questions over and over again... We've struggled with not ever being able to find answers to these questions; we just take comfort in the fact that it wasn't us being the toxic friend. We tried. But you can only try so long. In the end you have to make a decision. A decision to continue the friendship or get out of the friendship. We end up making a decision that was best for us. But it's quotes like these that pop up every once in a while that make me think of good memories with old friends - we'll always have those.
